Allan, is the Gauteng North Wildrunner Club up and running? I have to decide now, to join, before committing to my current club. Is there club-colors available and what are the costs? Forms available? Thank you, Samuel

Sorry Samuel, thats my mistake, it should read 'AGN Road Running licence fee'.

All licences for the Gauteng North Club will be issued by AGN.

Sorry Allan, please tell me why we have to pay the Western Province fees if we stay in Pretoria. Maybe i am just reading it wrong.

And is the running clothes finalised?

GAUTENG NORTH WILDRUNNER - MEMBERSHIP AND JOINING PROCEDURES

Welcome to all of you that have joined the Gauteng North Wildrunner Group.

The next step in finalising your membership with Wildrunner Trail and Athletic Club (AGN) and obtaining your Road running licence is as follows -

1. Complete enclosed licence form and return to us ASAP. ASA/AGN Licence Form

2. Pay membership Fees into Banking account (see details below)

3. Send proof of payment to Fax 086 560 7797 or email allanr@akko.co.za

Kindly Note - Licence numbers will only be released on proof of payment. Delivery thereof will be arranged.

Membership comprises of four classes of Club membership and the fees related thereto -

Membership Fees are R175-00 EACH, across all classes, PLUS a once off Joining Fee of R50-00, across all classes, PLUS an additional WPA Road Running licence fee will apply to all classes that participate in the Road Arena

(i.e. Classes A = R120-00 and B = R60-00). AGN licence allows for participation in all ASA sanctioned Road Races, Cross Country and Track and Field Events, Nationally from January 1st through to 31st December of each year.

(A) Senior Members (Females and Males). Total Fees = R345-00

(B) Junior Members (Females and Males under the age of 20). Total Fees R285-00
(C) Social Members (Females and Males). Total Fees = R225-00
(D) Trail Members (Females and Males). Trail members are not required to be licensed unless they wish to participate in WPA/ASA sanctioned races (i.e. Class A or B). Total Fees = R225-00

If you have already obtained a licence from another club for 2011, you may deduct the licence fee already paid for your respective class (i.e. Class A = R120-00 or B = R60-00). Please provide proof of these details, as we are then required to request a clearance letter from your previous club.

Wildrunner Athletic Club has been successfully formed under Athletics Gauteng North. As soon as we have set up the necessary banking account and finalised the registration process, we will advise on the procedures to be followed for signing up.
